ALAN RICH, PARTNER
Alan Rich is a partner in the North County business law firm of Alan Rich & Associates, APLC. The law firm was founded in
1972 and specializes in business transactions, M&A, strategic planning, human resources, real estate, international transactions and estate planning. Mr. Rich’s practice involves working with owners and management of privately owned businesses and has helped guide numerous clients through successful mergers and acquisitions. He has lectured on tax planning at extension seminars at University of California at San Diego, University of California at Riverside and University of Hawaii. Mr. Rich received his undergraduate degree from California State Polytechnic College, Pomona, and his law degree from U.C.L.A. He is a Certified Tax Specialist and a Certified Public Accountant.

DON JONES, CPA
Don Jones is a tax partner at BDO Siedman, an international accounting firm. Don is the west region practice leader for BDO
Seidman’s international tax practice. He has over 17 years of experience in international taxation. Don’s experience includes
assisting Fortune 500 companies in US outbound tax matters including international structuring, holding company structures,
international compliance outsourcing and global compliance. Prior to joining BDO Seidman, Don was with Grant Thornton and
PricewaterhouseCoopers. Don received his undergraduate and MBA degrees from Michigan State University.

GLEN WEI, TAX MANAGER

Glen Wei is a tax manager at BDO Seidman, LLP who is seconded from BDO in China. He focuses on China-related tax
consulting, tax planning, tax due diligence, and other tax-related advisory services. He ranked second among the certified tax advisers in the China-southern six provinces in a tax knowledge contest in September 2007. Prior to joining BDO, Glen had two years of experience in China’s legal due diligence for international IPOs and M&A at a law firm and more than three years of experience in financial statements auditing for Chinese publicly traded companies and privately held companies at another accounting firm. Glen has a Bachelor of Business Management at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law.

DR. MICHAEL SNOW, PRESIDENT
Dr. Michael Snow is the President of SnowPure, LLC, a privately-held water technology business, with its primary markets being “ultrapure” water for industrial pharmaceutical, semiconductor, and power generation use. Michael has a doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and has been developing, manufacturing, and selling water treatment technology for 18 years. Beginning at “Desalination Systems” in Escondido, Michael led R&D and Membrane Manufacturing. After Desal was purchased by GE/Osmonics, he managed a small water technology company (Electropure) where he grew the electrodeionization (EDI) technology business for 7 years, before orchestrating a management buyout of the business.

JOSH MATTHEW, CFA, VICE PRESIDENT
Josh Matthew, a Vice President in the Investment Banking group, joined ROTH Capital Partners in 2006 and is responsible for executing both public and private equity transactions. Prior to joining ROTH Capital Partners, Mr. Matthew was an Equity Research Associate at Thomas Weisel Partners where he focused on the Multimedia Entertainment and E-Commerce industries. Prior to joining Thomas Weisel Partners, he worked at Cowen and Company as an investment banker in the Technology group. Mr. Matthew is a CFA charterholder and received his B.S. degree in Finance with a Minor in Communications from San Diego State University.
